Boldbaatar is making his fourth Championship start. He competed in the Asia-Pacific Amateur in 2017 in New Zealand, 2018 in Singapore and 2019 in China. Earlier in 2024, he won a World Amateur Golf Ranking event in Mongolia and finished fourth in the Mongolia National Amateur Open Championship.
